Hippo Termal Alert

Hippo Thermal Alert for COVID

Hippo ThermalAlert is a dual spectrum thermal imaging solution for hospitals and clinics offering high-accuracy, live temperature tracking of patients and employees in clinical environments during COVID-19.

  • Thermal imaging cameras mounted at the entrance of the clinics or hospital automatically check the temperatures of employees / patients as they enter the facility
  • Live screening of the individual / group is available on dedicated monitors in both visible and thermal spectrum modes
  • An alert is triggered to the nursing staff / care team on call, enabling efficient triage for further tests

Command Center

  • ► Triage and coordinate care from a single location
  • ►  Real-time contact tracing via in-hospital cameras, bluetooth-enabled tags or beacon technology
  • ►  Centralized remote monitoring of patients using Hippo thermal Alert and Hippo Virtual Care (HVC) platforms
  • ►  Collate data across patients, monitor outbreaks and provide dashboards with alerts for care teams
  • ►  Help desk support for issues related to app, devices
  • ►  Note: each camera needs a separate Windows laptop (can be bundled as an optional extra)

Smart thermal imaging

Thermal imaging cameras at the entrance enable streamlined non-contact temperature monitoring at scale

Crowd detection + distance

Able to detect multiple individuals (up to 6) within the temperature detection zone from a distance of 20 feet away

Smart alerts

Highly customizable user interface with optical, thermal images and body temperature alerts on monitor, mobile and web

Platform Features

Quick to deploy

Plug and play installation; set-up options include standalone, central or drive-through detection modes. Graphical views can be customized by customer and user groups.

Pinpoint accuracy

High resolution infrared imaging accurately pinpoints people with an abnormal body temperature to within 0.55F in <1 second; temperature detection zone is between 6 to 20 feet.

Fully integrated and interoperable

Modular, cloud-based architecture allows quick integration with existing HR, CRM and ERP systems; FHIR compliant data repository to simplify integration with EHR/EMR when appropriate; interoperable with all major mobile platforms.

Safe and secure

Military-grade security; device-to-device 256 bit AES encrypted; HIPAA, FedRAMP and FISMA compliant.

Quality tested

Built using a rigorous quality management system and software development processes under ISO 13485 certification.

Self-screening option available

Companion app uses a smart risk assessment to check medical conditions and generates a QR Code for users to pass through a checkpoint with an “all clear to enter” indicator, or provides CDCapproved guidance and recommendations on what to do next depending on assessment results.
